Webus International Limited (NASDAQ: WETO), a global provider of AI-powered chauffeur and mobility services, has signed a significant agreement with Samara Alpha Management LLC, a leading SEC-registered investment adviser. The agreement outlines a strategic framework to potentially manage up to $300 million in XRP as part of Webus’s digital asset treasury strategy.

A Step Toward Institutional-Grade XRP Management

The deal appoints Samara Alpha as the exclusive manager for Webus’s digital assets, focusing on XRP. This framework gives Webus access to institutional-level infrastructure and expertise in managing crypto-based treasury operations.

While the agreement sets the stage for potential XRP management, it follows a phased implementation model. This means the agreement only becomes active once Webus transfers actual funds into secure custody wallets. As of now, no XRP or other digital assets have been transferred, and no investments have been made under this plan.

This development marks a major step in Webus’s interest in using blockchain technology and XRP for treasury diversification, though the company is moving forward cautiously and deliberately.
